Joann E. Villas, 72 of Flagstaff, AZ. Passed away peacefully at home September 27, 2025.

Joann was born to Mary and Lorenzo Apodaca October 6th, 1952.

Joann was a lifelong resident of Flagstaff, AZ. She retired from Flagstaff Medical Center in 2015.

In her retirement she enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to Laughlin with her sisters and friends, until her illness prevented her from doing so.

She is survived by the father of her children, Gabby P. Villas Sr., who supported her till the end. She is also survived by her sons, Larry (Terri) Villas and Daniel (Chauntel) Villas, daughters, Susan Valdivia and Melanie (Ezequiel) Castruita, all of Flagstaff, her brother Mercy Apodaca Sr, sisters Bernice Valencia and Evelyn (Leroy) Guara. As well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joann is happily reunited with her beloved son Gabby P. Villas Jr., parents, Mary and Lorenzo Apodaca, brother, Robert (Bobby) Apodaca, nephews, Tony E. Valencia Jr. and Mercy Apodaca Jr. and her niece Lorette Guara, son-in-law, Enrique Valdivia Jr, and daughter-in law, Kandice Whitt Villas.

In Keeping with Joann's wishes, there will be no services.

R.I.P. Joann! We used to talk on the phone a lot a few years back, we were sister in laws for a lot of years, but glad all those conversations on the phone we got to know each other on a more personal level! Rest in Paradise w/all the angels especially your baby boy
