Joanne Elizabeth Debski

Joanne Elizabeth Debski, 74, of Canal Fulton, passed away the early morning of December 1, 2024. Joanne was born September 17, 1950, in Pittsburgh, PA.
She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Haynackie) Dlutowski. As a child and by her close family, she was affectionately known as "Cookie." Joanne is remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved to travel and to personalize each gift from her heart. For many years, she was an active volunteer in her local down syndrome support community. Her greatest joy was being with her family and her dog Coco. Her love and kindness will be missed.
Joanne is survived by three sons, Christopher (Dana) Debski of Canal Fulton, Robert (Denise) Debski of Louisville, KY, and Ryan (Michelle) Debski of Howell, NJ; brother, Ronald (Carole) St. John of Baraboo, WI; sister, Jean Dlutowski of Pittsburgh, PA; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Joanne was preceded in death by her youngest son Luke, her shining star, who are together now in heaven.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Heitger Funeral Home-Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. NW, Massillon, OH 44646. There will be a brief memorial service immediately after.
