In Loving Memory of Joanne Frances (Oliver) Endevoets

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved sister, Joanne Frances (Oliver) Endevoets. Joanne-affectionately known as "JoJo" by her friends-passed away peacefully on October 28th in Oxnard after a short battle with breast cancer and related complications.

Born in Oxnard on September 14, 1951, Joanne attended local schools and graduated from Oxnard High School in 1970. After graduation, she took Special Education courses and began her long career at the Port Hueneme Naval Base, where she worked faithfully for over 40 years before retiring in 2017.

Overcoming many challenges in her lifetime, Joanne was a very strong, determined and independent woman. She loved chatting with friends, taking trips to Chumash Casino, enjoying Italian dinners with family, and making pizza using her grandmother's cherished recipe. Joanne had a kind and generous heart-always giving to those in need and supporting the less fortunate. "JoJo" was truly special to all who knew her.

Joanne is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ralph; her sister Anna (Troy) Ranow; brothers Frank Oliver and John P. (Terry) Oliver; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis J. and Serafina Oliver, and her sister-in-law Janet Oliver.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all of Joanne's doctors over the years, with special gratitude to Michelle Fishman, PAC, for her excellent care and compassion.

A memorial service will be held at Conejo Mountain Funeral Home on Thursday, November 13th. Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m.
