Joanne Patricia Goewert, was born on June 12, 1961, in Oakland, California and entered into rest on May 23, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri, at the age of 62. Joanne was a homemaker and resided in Neosho until moving to Raytown, Missouri in August of 2023. She enjoyed cooking, loved animals, and had four cats. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Joanne is survived by two sons, Alex Goewert and wife, Sammie of Anderson, Missouri, and Kris Goewert currently of Miami, Oklahoma; five grandsons, Kane, Auston, Erid Goewert, Kyler and Colin Goewert; siblings, Tony Vitelli, Patricia 'Sissy' Caldwell, Tina Spies, Liz Fritz, Robert Pesco, and Frank Pesco. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank, and Patricia. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 1 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in the Peace Valley Cemetery, Anderson, Missouri. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation on Thursday evening, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Contributions in honor of Joanne may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Faithful Friends, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
