So saddened to hear of Karla´s passing. I remember how her vibrant personality always filled a room with excitement. She was in my Girl Scout troop as a kid and I knew her all throughout high school. Her laughter and bright spirit will be surely missed.

I met Karla through the YMCA Live Strong program led by Joyce Urbain at West Y in Wichita. She always always had smile on her face and upbeat even while talking about her health issue: a joy to be around while sweating through exercising! My deepest sympathy to her family-I´m sad but so happy I got to be around her, even briefly.
