It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Joanne Lynn Hore. Joanne passed away in Calgary, AB on December 1, 2025 at the age of 55.
Born May 12, 1970 in Welland, ON to parents Ken & Diane Hore, she moved to Calgary in her early 20's and quickly settled in.
Joanne is survived by her children, Kaitlynn and Justin; her parents, Ken and Diane; and her very special baby, Roxy; as well as many friends and family all over Canada. She was predeceased by her brothers, Kenny and Kevin; and her grandparents, Jerry and Mary Morgan.
Joanne was known for being the first to offer help to anyone who needed it. She always put others first and was quick to offer a smile and encouragement. Her family meant the world to her and she loved them beyond all measure.
She loved to paint, cross stitch and enjoyed camping. No one could roast and eat marshmallows around a campfire like Joanne. She lived life on her own terms and her strength, energy and love were unwavering.
A Celebration of Joanne’s Life will be announced early in the new year.
