Joanne Crabb Hughes

Joanne Crabb Hughes, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at her residence. She was born on August 2, 1954, in Dublin, Georgia, to her late parents, Virgil Lumley and Hazel Lumley.

Joanne was happiest when fishing and playing games such as pool, slot machines, Yahtzee, and phase ten. She spent her free time playing games on her computer and staying connected with her family and friends. Joanne took much pride in her family and enjoyed making memories with all who surrounded her.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Joanne is survived by her first husband, the father of her children, Randy Crabb. She is also survived by her son, Kenny Crabb of Huger, South Carolina; her daughters, Michelle Crabb Mulling (Phillip) of Guyton, Georgia, and Carla Crabb Litchfield (Chris) of Guyton, Georgia; her brothers, Larry Lumley (Donna) of Summerville, South Carolina, Vinson Lumley of Dublin, Georgia, Randall Lumley of Dublin, Georgia, and Danny Outlaw (Cindi) of Macon, Georgia. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren—Nichole (Barry), Taylor (Dustin), Dylan (Maddie), Brianna, Chase, and Noah, her great-grandchildren, Tate, Hayes, Grayson, long time friend, Stella Boyette, and several nieces and nephews.

Joanne will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation will be held at Carlson and Riggs Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM in the chapel of Carlson and Riggs, with burial to follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Oak Park, Georgia.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Mulling, Chris Litchfield, Dylan Litchfield, Chase Litchfield, Noah Mulling, and Dustin Briggs.
