"It is more blessed to give than to receive" Acts 20:35
A shining light, she formed numerous wonderful friendships and connections in the community. Renowned for her kindness, she has helped many, including complete strangers, throughout her life. She cherished spending time with friends and family. Additionally, Joanne enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, attending fundraisers, working on puzzles, watching wildlife, and had a fondness for Snoopy. She will miss her monthly outings with her classmates of ELHS class of'68 and the many adventures she took on.
Over the years, she enjoyed taking many friends to visit Homer Laughlin to purchase colorful Fiesta ware. Joanne was an incredible cook who prepared meals for everyone she knew. With a passion for shopping, she loved going to yard sales and flea markets. Never knowing a stranger, Joanne would strike up conversations with anyone she encountered. With her natural ability to connect with others, everyone felt welcomed. She had a knack for finding common ground that often led to long discussions. Her openness not only enriched her life but also created a sense of community wherever she went. Joanne touched the lives of many with her kind and giving spirit. Her absence leaves a void in our hearts. She is now resting in the kingdom of Heaven.
