Joaquim Francisco

Joaquim Francisco, 90, of Lodi passed away on November 5, 2025. Born in Paus, Portugal he came to Philadelphia, PA in the United States on June 10, 1967, and then finally settling in Lodi. He worked as a tailor and did that for over 65 Years and finished working for Sal Lauretta in Midland Park. Joaquim was proud of his Portuguese and American heritage. He was one of the founders of the Lodi Portuguese Club. He was a huge soccer fan and loved Benfica Soccer Club and he was also a member. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church in Lodi. Preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Adelina Francisco. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Gomes) Francisco. Devoted father of Antonio Francisco and his wife Carleen of Lodi and Cristina Francisco and her husband Felix Walker of Lodi. Loving grandfather of Janette and Claire Francisco, Antonio and Lizette Francisco and Janelle Walker. Cherished great grandfather of Lilianna, Leilani, Madalena and Mateo. Dear brother of Maria Rodrigues and her husband Joaquim and Jose Francisco and his wife Zulmira. Proud Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, 9:00 am at Di Chiara Funeral Home, 300 Main St., Lodi then to St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church for an 10:00 am Funeral Mass.
