Joaquín Sáenz Jr. was born on September 23, 1938, in Ciudad Juárez, México, and peacefully passed away on October 16, 2025, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 87.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Joaquín Sáenz Sr. and Petra Sáenz, who now welcome him into eternal rest.
Joaquín is lovingly remembered by his children Joaquín Sáenz III, Jesús Javier Sáenz, Georgina Acosta, and Laura Soria, along with his many adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and joy.
Those who knew Joaquín will always remember his inquisitive nature, strong spirit, and determined mind. He loved life, laughter, and the simple beauty of being outdoors. His garden was his sanctuary-where he found peace and happiness.
