Jodi Davis, a beloved member of the Rutland community, passed away on January 19, 2026, at the Rutland Regional Medical Center. Born on September 29, 1957, in Rutland, Vermont, Jodi touched the lives of many during her 68 years.
A proud graduate of Rutland High School, Jodi dedicated an impressive 46 years of her life to Hannaford, where she built lasting relationships and became a cherished part of the workplace before retiring in 2022.
Outside of her professional achievements, Jodi was known for her calm spirit and passions. She found joy in gardening, camping, traveling, arts and crafts, and adored animals. There was nothing quite like the simple pleasure of finding a good bench to sit on, where she could enjoy the beauty of the world around her.
Jodi is survived by her loving sister, Cathi (Robert) Gregory, and her nephews Gary (Sara) Gregory, Zachary Davis, Lucas (Danielle) Davis, and Shane Davis. Her niece, Sarah Gregory (Pete), and her great niece, Lilyanne, along with great nephews Bennett and Marcus, also carry her memory forward. Jodi is further survived by an aunt, uncles, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlene and Norman Davis, and her brother, Scott Davis.
Jodi's legacy is one of kindness, resilience, and an unwavering love for her family and the things she cherished. As we remember Jodi, let us honor her memory by embracing the love and joy she brought into our lives.
