Jodi Lynn Jacobson was born September 28th, 1975, to Joann Losh and Theodore Jacobson at Grand Rapids hospital. Jodi passed on May 12th, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth. Jodi graduated from Bemidji High School.
She had three children she adored: Joseph Nelson, Krissa Jacobson, and Sarah Baker. Jodi loved being outside, fishing, and was a huge dog lover and rescuer. Jodi had the best sense of humor, helped everyone she knew in any way, and was always so giving to her friends and family. Jodi also loved 80s music, arts and crafts, and spoiling her grandson.
Jodi is preceded in death by her mother, Joann Losh, father Theodore Jacobson, and twin brother Jeffrey Jacobson.
Jodi is survived by her son, Joseph Nelson, grandson Joseph Nelson Jr., Daughters Krissa Jacobson and Sarah Baker, Sister Jill Bergstrom, niece Emily Bergstrom, stepfather Lyman Losh, and Chucky Losh, Lindsey White, Becky White, Carla Losh, Stephanie Losh, and Michelle Johnson
A memorial service will be held for Jodi on Saturday May 24th at 2 pm at the Dave Morgan community center in Bena Minnesota, 15085 Old Housing Drive NE.
