Jodi L. Peternel (nee Kleinowski).
Passed away peacefully with her immediate family by her side on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at the age of 59.
She loved to love whether it be friends, family, or a stranger she just met; she radiated joy. Jodi found great enjoyment in outdoor adventures which included: e-biking, kayaking, gardening, and disc golf. She also was dedicated to her Lord, family, friends, and making those around her smile. She further enjoyed playing board games and relaxing by her river and her lake up north.
Survived by her loving husband of 36 plus years, Dan, devoted mom to her sons A.J. and Ryan, big sis to Jeanne (Troy), and sister-in-law to Mark (Dianne), Beth (Jim), Kevin (Lisa), and Julie (Mike). Special aunt to Brendan, Hannah, Seth, Kayla, Chandler, and McKenna. Daughter-in-law to Andy Peternel and niece to Al Kohls. Welcomed into Heaven by her parents: Jim and Diane Kleinowski, her sister Julie, and her mother-in-law Marge. Further survived by other loved family and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Mission Hills Chapel (8910 W. Drexel Ave., Franklin, WI 53132) on Saturday, April 12th starting at 10AM until time of service at 12 PM. Private family burial at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.
