Jody Ellis Hall

Jody Ellis Hall, 46, of Quinton, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2025. Jody loved his family more than anything; he married his loving wife, Melinda, on June 10, 2000. Their marriage gave them two children. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening and freshwater fishing. He was also a pit bull lover and advocate for their breed. Jody was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, David and Hazel Clark, and his paternal grandmother, Edna Glen. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Melinda; his sons, Owen Hall, and Noah Hall; his mother, Sandra Hall; his father, John Hall; his brother, Tony Clark; his sister, Christy Barnard; his grandfather, Edward Hall; and several aunts, uncles, and friends. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. The family will receive friends from 5 PM to 7 PM, Monday, September 1, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to an animal shelter in your area.
