Jody Lynn Look was born on May 26th, 1964, to Dale and Viola Look in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She spent most of her life there, graduating from Steamboat Springs High School in 1982. When she was 17 years old, she started working at Yampa Valley Electric Association and stayed there for the next 31 years.
She went to many beautiful destinations in her life and loved being anywhere with a beach. She enjoyed scuba diving and playing golf, creating masterpieces with stained glass, sewing, crocheting, and many other crafts. She was also very talented at home remodeling and could become a slave driver whenever she started a new project with her brother Norm.
She spent the last 11 years in Fruita, Colorado where she started a new career at Coldwell Banker. She loved the warmer weather and all the people she met there. She loved to hike in the area, play golf, and work on her home and yard.
Her life revolved around her daughter, Kaitlyn. She was a shining light in her life, and they became the best of friends when Kaitlyn grew up.
The world lost a sweet soul on October 14, 2024, and heaven gained an angel. She was a wonderful mother, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was always willing to help someone out and always had her friends close to her heart.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Dale Look, a grandson Lucas Salamanca, and all of her grandparents. She is survived by her mom, Viola Look, daughter Kaitlyn (Kiko) Salamanca, grandchildren, Louie, Atticus, and Saige, siblings Mitch (Debbie) Rule, Norm Look, and Sandy (Joe) Brozovich, her nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jody's life will be held on July 12th from 4:00-6:00pm at 26650 Wheeler Creek Lane, Steamboat Springs, CO.
