He was born July 29, 1964, in Michigan, son of Virginia Hurren Schulmeier and the late Barry David.
Joe was a former Navy Seal.
In addition to his father, Joe was preceded in death by his adoptive father, George Charlton; sister, Patricia Majewski; and brother, Fred Charlton.
In addition to his mother, Joe is survived by his wife, Vickie Rice Charlton; adoptive mother, Judy Charlton; two daughters, Shasta (Adrian Craig) Stuckey and Jennifer Jo (Tony) Stone; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, Paisley Ann; sister, Tina (Ray) Flood; and two brothers, Chad Charlton and Jimmy Charlton.
