Joe Danner Obituary
Joe was born April 15, 1927 in Kennett, Mo to John and Myrtle Danner.
Joe was one of 7 children. While helping his parents on the farm he joined the United States Army and served two years during WWII. After the Army he married Vera Lee Webber in 1948. He worked on their farm in Southeast Missouri and was also a carpenter for many years.
In 1991 Joe and Vera moved to Rogersville, MO to be closer to their children. Joe is a Christian and a member of Sunset Church of Christ
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 75 years Vera, 2 daughters Paula Christian and her husband Barney of Springfield and Jo Shrable and her husband Jeff of Ava. He is survived by 2 grandchildren Kerre Clark and her husband Tanner of Ava and Wil Shrable and his wife Sarah of Rogersville, 7 great grandchildren Flint, Mattie, Tenley, Nora, Dalley, Jack, Adeline and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services for Joe will be at 11:00 am Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with interment following in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am Saturday prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, TN 38105 or Childrens Miracle Network 3525 S. National Ave. Springfield, MO 65807

I´m sorry I couldn´t be there! You know how much I love you all,Paula you were my first little girl ! I have such wonderful memories of spending the summer with you all and taking care to feed Uncle Joe and his helper. Vera I loved that summer and felt all grown-up taking are of your little girl !
The times Joe and Daddy sat ate the table eating homemade ice cream! Jo Jo you were almost as fiesta as I was ! Rayna got some good pictures at Cristen´s Wedding. I love you all and we have wonderful memories .

Dear Joe, knowingly that you view us all from above, let us remember the little store livelihood that you and Vera had across the road from Mom/Pop. Bud and I loved staying all night with you two.
