Joe V. Davis

August 17, 1970 - July 23, 2025

Joe V. Davis went home to be with his Savior on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. He passed away peacefully in his home in Elko, NV due to natural causes.

Joe was born in Battle Mountain, NV on Aug. 17, 1970, to Doyle and Beaulah Davis. He was the youngest of six children. Joe graduated from Battle Mountain High School in 1989.

After high school, Joe worked in various industries such as mining, retail, customer service, and transportation. Joe later moved to Elko where he attended Great Basin College and graduated with an associate degree in graphic design. Joe was most recently employed by the Elko County School District.

Joe will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, and his bright smile. He loved attending community events, high school reunions, and local sporting events. Joe especially enjoyed going to Friday night football games at Warrior Field with his family, eating concession-stand hamburgers while visiting and watching the game. He could often be spotted at the Coffee Mug, chatting with locals and greeting everyone with a smile. Joe was also part of the church family at Victory Community Church. Community and family were at the heart of Joe's life. Joe was a devoted brother, son, uncle, and friend. He lived a life of service, always lending a helping hand when needed.

Joe is survived by his brothers, Eddy Davis, of Elko, and Jimmy (Robin) Davis, of Elko; sister, Bonita Davis Munoz, of Boise, ID; niece, Jennifer (Julius) Stieger, of Elko; niece, Laura Eudey, of Elko; niece, Kathy Munoz, of Boise, ID; nephew, John Munoz, of Boise, ID; nephew, Gerald (Teresa) Dixon, of Spring Creek, NV; niece, Annie (Tom) Dixon, of Spring Creek, NV; niece, Kristian (Joe) McFarland, of Glenns Ferry, ID; nephew, Jason Roberts, of Oklahoma City, OK; niece, Jessica Roberts, of Spring Creek, NV. Joe is further survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Joe is preceded in death by his father, Doyle Davis; mother, Beulah Robertson Davis; sisters, Deborah Davis Eudey, and Loretta Davis; and nephews, Allan Dixon, and Gus Munoz, Jr.

The family will hold a private graveside service in Battle Mountain, NV at a later date.
