Joe Bill Dickerson

Joe Bill Dickerson, 74, of Anderson, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025.

Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late William Howard "Bill" and Deree McClain Dickerson. Joe Bill was retired from BASF and is a lifetime member of Center Rock Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church and the Challengers Sunday School Class.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Dickerson; son Marty Dickerson; daughter Devin Dickerson Dial (Hunter); daughter-in-law Monica Dickerson; grandsons Jacob William Dickerson and Carter Martin Dickerson; great-grandson Finley Dickerson; and brother Tony Dickerson (Debbie).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Russell Brent Dickerson and a brother Donald E. Dickerson.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, January 3, 2026, at New Prospect Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Bryan Cribb and Rev. Drew Gunter. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service. The family is at the residence.
