Joe Deane Foley of Uvalde, Texas, and former resident of Groesbeck, passed away on September 4, 2023.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Lake Limestone Baptist Church (17905 Sterling Robertson Dam Rd, Thornton, Texas 76687.)
Joe was born December 25, 1944, in Mexia, Texas, where he was raised by Thomas Alton Foley and Mary Helen Foley. He joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 17 and was a Vietnam Veteran.
Joe was a member of the Lake Limestone Baptist Church until moving to Uvalde, Texas where he was a member of the Bread of Life church in Uvalde, Texas.
Joe was preceded in death by his youngest son, James J Foley.
He is survived in death by his wife Connie Gayle Foley(Uvalde, TX), and his children Cody & Caitlyn Foley(Beeville, TX), Cyle Foley & Dr Kelly Studdard(Dallas, TX), and Danny & Julie Foley(Beeville, TX). He has 8 grandchildren: Richard Foley(Alpine, TX), Abel Foley(San Marcos, TX), Caitlynn Foley(Beeville, TX), Robert Tyler Flores (Seattle, WA.), Brooke Lynette Flores (Boerne, TX) Roger Tate Apostol (Conroe, TX) Emery Foley(Beeville, TX), and Findley Foley(Beeville, TX). He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, James & Anita Foley (Mexia, TX), Mark & Karen Fry (Uvalde, TX), Jennifer & Mike McNair (Lake Kickapoo, TX); nephews and nieces: Dennis Foley (Mexia, TX), Wendy (Idalou, TX), Julie Armstrong (Scotland, TX), Billy Foley (Mexia, TX), Chad Foley (Alamogordo, NM), Jessica Hixon (Austin, TX), Jacob Haston (New Braunfels, TX), Bobby McNair (Lake Kickapoo, TX), Matthew McNair (Lake Kickapoo, TX).
