Joseph Arnold Ginn, a beloved grandfather, veteran, and expert tile craftsman, passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2024, surrounded by much of his loving family. Born to Alfred and Narcy Ginn in 1944, Joe was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James and Leonard Ginn,
Joe leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, cherished by his devoted wife of 51 years, Cathy Ginn. Together, they built a life filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support, serving as an inspiration to all who knew them.
He is survived by his son, Chip Sims, daughter-in-law Darlene Sims, and grandchildren, Cody Sims, McCade Sims, and Baylie Sims, along with their significant others, Adam Coates, Bailee Jo Higley, and Kylee Chalk. Joe also lived long enough to meet his great grandchildren Milli and Keenan Sims.
Joe's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His wisdom, unconditional love, and wit will be dearly missed, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly through the lives of those he touched.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 9, 2024 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after the service at Evans Funeral Home.
An honor guard ceremony will be held at 10:30 A.M. at Evans Memory Gardens prior to the memorial service.
