Joe Gutierrez, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 8, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He was born on July 7, 1961, in Sinton, Texas. Joe lived a full life dedicated to his family and his work as a trailer mechanic, where he showcased his skills and commitment to his craft.
Joe had zest for life that was evident in his many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed gardening, which brought him peace and joy, and was known for his love of good music, often filling his home with melodies that brought comfort to those around him. Joe was an avid traveler and enjoyed going on cruises, often taking his trailer on trips to explore the great outdoors, reflecting his true passion for nature.
Joe is survived by his devoted wife, Diana Gutierrez; his daughter, Christina Gutierrez; and his son, Jose Luis Gutierrez Jr., along with his wife, Ashleigh. He was a proud grandfather to three grandkids: Omar Anthony Jimenez, Mateo Benjamin Gutierrez, and Luca James Gutierrez. Joe will also be missed by numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and warmth.
Sadly, Joe was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Gutierrez.
Visitation will be held on April 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00PM, at Integrity Funeral Home, located at 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd, Houston, TX 77075. A funeral service will take place the following day, April 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM ( final gathering at 11:00AM) at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 10727 Hartsook St, Houston, TX 77034.
Joe Gutierrez will be remembered for his caring spirit, his dedication to his family, and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
