Joe B. Hollin, of Lily, Kentucky, was born on September 13, 1952, in Clay County, Kentucky. He was the beloved son of the late Henry Hollin and Claudia Smith Hollin. Joe was united in marriage to Lee Etta Eversole Hollin, who preceded him in death. He departed this life on Monday, August 4, 2025, at the age of 72 years, 10 months, and 22 days.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Jessica Hollin (Chris Davidson) of Lily, and his stepchildren, Jennifer Eversole (Chris Davidson) and Tim Eversole. He leaves behind six siblings: Harold Hollin, Cleveland Hollin, Will Hollin, and Gladys Pennington, all of Lily, Robert Hollin of Corbin, Kentucky and May Allen of London, Kentucky. Joe was a proud grandfather to Paisley Davidson, Shelby Davidson, Catlin Eversole, and Bobby Eversole, and a great-grandfather to Bryson Eversole and Faith Smith. He also leaves behind a special nephew, Micky Hollin, and special great-nephew, Michael Hollin, along with a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents and wife, Joe was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Hollin, two grandchildren, Kaydence and Trinity Davidson, and seven siblings: Frank Hollin, Orville Hollin, Rae Hollin, Charlie Hollin, Ed Hollin, Opal Johnson, and Mahan Hollin. He was also predeceased by two stepchildren, Regina Eversole and David Eversole.

Joe worked for Martin Cupp and Son and was a skilled carpenter. He was a devoted member of the Knox Fork Holiness Church.

The funeral service for Joe B. Hollin will be conducted at 1 pm Saturday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Curtis Lewis and Bobby Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Hollin Cemetery in Lily. The family will receive friends beginning at 6 pm Friday at Bowling Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Hollin, Justin Hollin, Clinton Allen, Henry Johnson, Josh Hollin, and Bailey Hollin.
