Joe Howell Obituary
She was born May 24, 1943 in Starke, Florida to the late Roy Christopher Johnson, Sr. and Leona Addison Johnson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Carol Rowe, Louise Richardson and Vivian Wofford; and three brothers, Billy Johnson, Roy Johnson, Jr., and Lonnie Johnson.
She is survived by her children, Earl Howell (Lorraine), Jean Tierney (David), Erik Howell, Jerri Nash (George), Terri Mathis (Shelby) and Richard Howell (Laura); three sisters, Pansy Burnett, Bonnie Davis (Jim), and Sharon McCormick; 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 30 at 2 p.m. in the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Trey Keene officiating. The family received friends Wednesday, July 30 from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial followed in High Bluff Cemetery in Hoboken, Ga.
