Joe Knippers Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Zoar Baptist Church, Central from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am conducted by Dr. Tim Norris. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Joe is survived by his son, Kevin Knippers (Marcy) and daughter, Pamela Moran (David Jr.), sisters, Leisa Powe and Theresa Harrell (Randy) and brother, Major Knippers, grandchildren, Kaylynn Knippers, Aubri Moran, Lane Knippers, Tatum Knippers and Levi Moran.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Knippers, son, Jason Knippers, mother, Hazel Knippers, brother and sister in law, Gene and Aline Knippers, brother, Stanley Barlow and sister Sheila Barnum.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Richard, Carl Knippers, Nat McKerley, Lane Knippers, Jamie Wunstel and Cole Foreman. Honorary pallbearer is Joe Lafleur.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central Community Theatre, 11287 Lovett Rd., Baton Rouge, LA 70818.
