Joe was a beloved primary care doctor in Philadelphia for 51 years. He cared deeply about his patients. He had beautiful and rich life. He traveled the world, loved the Jersey shore, and had deep relationships with family and friends.
Joe is survived by his wife of 45 years Sandi Lichtman; his children Abby Lichtman and Greg Lichtman; his grandchildren Wesley and Bella and his sister Savannah Sellman. He will be missed by so many.
Relatives and friends are invited Sunday, October 20, 2024, beginning 3:45 pm to PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, Inc. 2001 Berlin Road, Cherry Hill, NJ where funeral services will begin promptly at 4:30 pm. The service will also be live streamed on plattmemorial.com. Please scroll down to view the live stream.
Shiva will be observed at his late residence on Sunday following the funeral and again on Monday and Tuesday beginning at 7:00 pm each night.
Contributions in memory of Joe can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, stjude.org.

Dr. Joe quite literally, saved my life. His sitting with a patient , he explained, is best way to observe his patients with a keen eye. He was my mentor, shrink and friend. Always remembered. Love and peace, Jennifer Hofmann
