Funeral Service for Joe Morgan of Marksville will begin at 11:00am Wednesday January 17, 2024, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Mansura with Fr. Dwight. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Reopen on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 8:00am until time of service.
Joe Morgan, age 72, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at his residence in Marksville.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Victoria Morgan; three children, Kevin Morgan (Rose), Dawn Manning (Simmon), and Ben Morgan (Amanda); grandchildren, Kenndra, Ryan, Brandon, Taylor, Zachary, Mikayla, Ethian, and Carson; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Amelia, and two on the way; brothers, Samuel Morgan, Wallace “Gene” Morgan, John Morgan, David Morgan, Scott Morgan, and Lloyd Paul Morgan Jr.; and sister, Barbara Lemoine; and numerous, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents, Lloyd Sr. and Annie Ruth Morgan.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Escude Funeral Home of Mansura (6608 Porterie St. Mansura, LA 71350).
