Joe Roark Obituary

Sergeant First Class, SFC, Joe E. Roark, retired, 71, passed away November 28, 2012 at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran's Hospital. Joe served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1967-1968; he then served three tours in Germany and retired from Fort Campbell Kentucky. He worked for sixteen years at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran's Hospital in the Sterile Processing unit. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Carol; one daughter, Chanda Cole, and Brian of McKinney, Texas; three grandchildren, Craig, Caragan and Chandler Cole of McKinney, Texas. There will be a graveside service on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors. Memorial contributions in honor of Joe may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
