Joseph Charles Roberts, known as Joe, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025, in Milwaukie, Oregon, at the age of 60. Born on February 26, 1964, in Oregon City, Joe lived a life filled with adventure, family, community, and an unwavering dedication to his Faith.
Joe was always known for his big smile—a trait that remained throughout his life. From childhood, pets were an essential part of his world, with his dogs bringing him daily joyful companionship. Growing up his days were spent skateboarding, riding BMX with his friends, or visiting the corner candy shop.

On April 8, 2000, Joe married Penny, the love of his life and together they shared many years of travel, exploring new hobbies, giving to their community and cherishing quiet moments together. Joe found deep fulfillment in devotion to those around him, whether maintaining church grounds, cleaning, or cooking.
A passionate car enthusiast, Joe spent much of his career in the auto industry, dedicating the last 23 years to Gresham Ford—”The Dealer with A Heart." He cherished meaningful relationships he built with colleagues and took great pride in his work.
An avid traveler, Joe loved exploring new places with Penny, whether by road, plane, or RV. He cherished their world adventures, and the time spent visiting family, eager to connect and share experiences with his loved ones near and far. Always finding joy in cooking, gardening, camping, sailing, motorcycles, and especially learning about local history during his travels.
