Joseph A Schilousky, 67 of Albion, NE passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 12, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2025, at Levander Funeral Home in Albion, with Pastor Roy Schilousky officiating. Joseph "Joe" Allan Schilousky, son of Robert "Bobby" and Dixie (Singleton) Schilousky, was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1957, in Albion, NE. He attended Albion High School.

Joe spent much of his life working hard and lending a helping hand wherever it was needed. He worked alongside his family for many years at their family business: Albion Auto Parts before later joining the local hog units, where he remained until his retirement.

Joe was a man with a big heart and a love for the simple things in life. He enjoyed quiet mornings in his garden, watching old westerns, and casting a fishing line on peaceful afternoons. He had a lifelong passion for classic cars and trucks. He could talk for hours about engines, old memories, and the satisfaction of bringing a vehicle back to life.

Above all, Joe deeply cherished his family. Being a grandpa brought him immense joy, and his granddaughters were truly the light of his life.

Those left to cherish Joe's memory include his daughter: Morgan (Leroy) Rogers of Silver Creek, NE; two granddaughters: Norah and Olive Rogers of Silver Creek, NE; mother: Dixie Schilousky of St. Edward, NE; brother: Dan (Kim) Schilousky of Cedar Rapids, NE; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father: Bobby; son: Joseph Allan; brother: Paul Schilousky; and sister: Robbin McAlister.
