Harlow "Joe" Joshlyn Stewart, of Pine Mountain, entered heaven on October 21, 2025. He was born on April 6, 1961, to the late Everett Junior Stewart and Beulah Dean Stewart.
He was born in Greenville, Ohio. He attended Tri- village high school and entered the Army in 1979. While serving his Country, he learned the welding trade, received a Good Conduct Medal and a Rifle Marksman Award. He spent his working career as a welder and rigger until his health no longer allowed him to work. He enjoyed anything having to do with race cars, especially watching his favorite race car driver, Dale Earnhardt,Jr. Joe also loved spending time with his constant companion and service dog, Smokey, his Black Lab. He was heartbroken when Smokey preceded him in death. Joe was a loving, kind person who never met a stranger. Because of his declining health, almost 15 years ago, the doctors had given him only a year to live. He was sure to let people know that the Lord was the reason he was still living. He also loved sharing the Gospel with anyone he met.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Stewart; his step-son, Adam Daum (Robyn); his siblings, Dan Stewart(Carolyn) and Jay Stewart(Cynthia); his grand daughter, Oakleigh Daum; his nephews, cousins, and his other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his sister Kay Stewart
