Joe Carlos Vasquez, of San Antonio, TX, passed away suddenly Monday, August 5, 2024, at the age of 74 of natural causes. He was born and raised in Waco, TX.
Joe served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Nam war as an MP in Germany. He later attended McLennan Community College and then spent the next thirty years as a computer technician. He settled in San Antonio but shared some wooded acreage with his hunting partners in Tarpley, Texas where he enjoyed getting away on his time off. Joe had a love of music, as not only did he spend time enjoying many live musical performances with his friends, but he also played the drums.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Carmen Vasquez. He is survived by his sisters, Bernadine (Gary) and Barbara (Frank), nephews Andrew Castillo, Michael Castillo and Jonathan Dodd, niece Celina Buchanan and many many cousins, grand nephews, nieces and special friends.
Joe will be buried in Waco Memorial Park.
