Mr. Joe Donald Warf, age 91, of Galax Va., passed away Friday November 21, 2025 at Galax Health & Rehab. He was born in Carroll County, VA March 22, 1934 to the late Zelmer and Annie Sharpe Warf. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Randy Joe Warf, eight brothers and one sister. He was a miner by trade and worked with the Austinville lead mine, he also worked at Vaughan Bassett for several years prior to his retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the most being outdoors. He also loved his family very much and will be dearly missed by them.
He is survived by one son Timothy Craig Warf of Galax, VA, four grandchildren; Tia Roberts and husband Michael, Dustin Warf and wife Rene, Joey Warf and wife Stella and Shelly Warf, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
