Joe M. Whitten, age 97, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday March 31, 2025 UH Elyria Medical Center
He was born in Wilder, TN and had resided in North Ridgeville since 1954.
He worked for GM Fischer Guide in Elyria, retiring in 1982 after 30 years.
Joe enjoyed fishing, was an avid sports fan especially enjoyed watching baseball and gardening.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 75 years, Lucille, son Kenneth Whitten of Elyria, two grandsons, Ken Whitten, Jr., Eric Whitten; and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by father, Tom Whitten, mother, Novella Whitten, daughter, Kathy Whitten, sisters, Mary Lou Clark and Elsie Clark.
The family will receive friends Thursday April 3, 2025 from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Burial will follow in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
