Joe Worsham, 79, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 5:55 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2023 at the Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, KY.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY he was born August 31, 1943 the son of the late Eugene Worsham and Ruby Lyons Worsham. He retired as Parts Manager at Hopkinsville Motor Power. He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of VFW Post 1913, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was also an avid golfer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Helen Louise Monday Worsham; his second wife: Joan "JoJo" Worsham; his daughter: Teresa Colston; his brothers: Jimmy Worsham and Bobby Worsham; and his sister: Sue Tackett.
Survivors include his sons: Bill Colston and Deano (Ann) Colston both of Hopkinsville, KY; his brothes: Charles (Sue) Worsham, Jerry (Lynn) Worsham, and Steve (Mary Lynn) Worsham all of Hopkinsville, KY; his sisters: Brenda (Jerry) Pryor of Texas and Janie (Wayne) White of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren: Cody (Anna) Colston and Amanda Colston; and six great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to VFW Post 1913.
