Joel D. Jeneault, 52 of Ogdensburg, NY, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Born on September 1, 1972 in Ogdensburg, NY to the late Albert E. Jeneault and Rosemarie Brunet.
He was a Correctional Officer for 25 years with the NYS DOC. He was an avid football player and fan. Joel loved his family, watching his son and other nieces and nephews playing sports, and did his best to make people happy.
He is survived by his son, Jaysen Jeneault; siblings, Ernie (Colleen) Jeneault, Jeanette (Clark) Jeneault, Lisa MacDougall, Denise (Charlie) Foland, Thad (Deborah) Jeneault and Juliette (Kevin) Ross, Kate (Jason) Eure, Jacob (Sara) Jeneault and several nieces, nephews, cousins and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 4-7pm.
