Joel Koch Obituary
Joel Clift Koch, Sr. Joel Clift Koch, Sr., age 74, of Manassas, VA passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Prince William Hospital. He fought a valiant fight against cancer.
He was a native of Tennessee. He had been a resident of Prince William County for the past 45 years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1967.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; his 3 children, Grace, Joel Jr., and Elizabeth; and six grandchildren, Hilary, Jeannette, Joe III, David, Sarah, and Cathleen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20109 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 12:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas, Va.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.foundandsons.com.

Dear Koch Family:
Please accept our deepest sympathy in your loss. As Joel's co-workers at NVCC, we spent many years with him & were always impressed with his attention to detail. He would proudly share his auto body projects with us & was eager to share his knowledge with students. He was a devoted husband & father, who will be dearly missed. Mr. Koch left this world more beautiful than he found it. Each spring, Sudley Elementary shines brighter from his lovening touch. I will say an extra prayer of thanksgiving when his irises bloom this spring. May God be with all of you.
