Joel Patrick Lytle

FORT WORTH - Joel Patrick Lytle, 37, passed away on July 25, 2024.
Rosary: 6:00 - 6:15 p.m. and Viewing 6:15 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, in Live Oak Chapel at Greenwood, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Funeral Service: 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024, in Live Oak Chapel at Greenwood; followed by interment at Greenwood Memorial Park. Reception: 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. at Greenwood Funeral Home in Memorial Suite C and D, 3344 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107.
Joel was born in Fort Worth, Texas on August 10, 1986. He was the youngest of 3 children. He attended Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas and was the former President of the SAE's (Sigma Alpha Epsilon). Joel was a Board Member of The Interfraternity Council (IFC) and was dedicated and strove to promote high academic standards, philanthropic services, leadership development, academic achievement, brotherhood, spiritual growth and services to the community.
Joel was the Branch Manager and entrusted driving force of an Automotive Paint Supply and Distribution co. Despite the pressure and immense responsibility he worked hard and tirelessly with dedication and determination and turned the company into the success it is today. Joel's professional accomplishments were as vast as they were impressive. He was loyal and honest, a visionary, a trailblazer, and a leader. It was under his guidance, that the company and team overcame challenges and reached new heights that would not have been accomplished without his leadership and commitment. His strategies were innovative, persistent and he was known for providing superior customer service and relations, competitive negotiations along with insightful decision making to accommodate all customers needs.
He had several hobbies including hunting, fishing, and golfing.
Joel loved life, his family and friends, and most importantly the love of his life, his daughter Char-Char.
Joel was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joaquin Teixeira; fraternal grandparents, Allen and Mary Lytle; and aunt, Sharon Warrel.
He is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Mae Lytle; grandmother, Gracinda Teixeira; mother, Nettie Lytle; father, Doug Lytle and wife, Connie. He is also survived by brothers, Al "Jack" Dias and wife, Vanessa, and David Lytle; nephews, Tony, Leo, and Michael Dias; great-niece, Amelia, great-nephew, Luke Dias; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
