Joel Pruneda Obituary
Joel served 2 Years in the U.S Army. He had a passion to fix everything when he got the "chance to" as he would say. He was a very hard worker and a jokester. He was a very loving husband, father, brother, grandpa (Papa) and great grandpa. He will be dearly missed by all.
He is survived by his children, Emmy (Craig Henderson) Weber, Joel (Lisa) Pruneda Jr., Mark Pruneda and Belinda (David) Pruneda-Rigard; grandchildren, Ashley Weber, Paige Pruneda, Phoebe Pruneda, Sierra and Brandon O'Brien and Xavier and Gwendolyn Davila; great grandchildren, Amiya Booker and Kairo Cannon. He is also survived by his siblings Paula Lopez, Pablo Pruneda Jr. and Mary Alice Garza as well as many dear relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Emma Pruneda of 53 years, his parents, siblings, Rumaldo and Victor Rodriguez, Guadalupe Figueroa, Rogelio Pruneda and San Juanita Vargas: grandsons Cesar Contreras, Jr., And DiMitri Pruneda.
Family will be receiving guests on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave., Montgomery, IL. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church 271 N. Farnsworth Ave., Aurora, IL. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Montgomery, IL.
