Joel Valencia Sánchez, de 64 años, falleció el 12 de febrero de 2026 en Houston, Texas. Nació el 17 de marzo de 1961 en el Municipio de Cuitzeo, México, hijo de Miguel Valencia y Ma. Remedios Sánchez. Desde joven, Joel destacó por su fuerte ética de trabajo y su profundo amor por la familia, valores que guiaron su vida entera.
Durante 25 años trabajó como pintor, oficio al que dedicó su esfuerzo y orgullo. Sus manos firmes y su atención al detalle reflejaban la dedicación con la que ejercía su profesión. También le sobreviven sus hermanos: Miguel Valencia y su esposa Celia; José Valencia y su esposa Rosa; Samuel Valencia y su esposa Francisca; y René Valencia y su esposa Sylvia.

Joel Valencia Sanchez, 64, passed away on February 12, 2026, in Houston, Texas. He was born on March 17, 1961, in Municipio de Cuitzeo, Mexico, to Miguel Valencia and Ma. Remedios Sanchez. From his early years, Joel carried with him a strong work ethic and a deep love for family-qualities that shaped the life he built.
For 25 years, Joel worked as a painter, a trade he approached with dedication and pride. His hands were steady, his eye for detail sharp, and his commitment unwavering. Beyond his work, Joel was known for his warm personality and the joy he brought to those around him. He loved gathering with family for outdoor BBQs, where he often filled the air with laughter and lighthearted jokes. At home, he enjoyed relaxing in front of the television, and he followed baseball and soccer with enthusiasm, cheering on his favorite teams with genuine passion.
Joel leaves behind a large and loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his sisters Eva Zavala and her husband Agustin, Elia Ortiz and her husband Ambrocio, Angelina Ruiz and her husband Rafael, Guadalupe Nambo and her husband Porfirio, Abigail Guzman and her husband Melchor, and Luz Maria Arroyo and her husband Gandencio. He is also survived by his brothers Miguel Valencia and his wife Celia, Jose Valencia and his wife Rosa, Samuel Valencia and his wife Francisca, and Rene Valencia and his wife Sylvia.
Joel's presence brought warmth, humor, and connection to every gathering. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
