Olga Salinas Obituary
Olga vivió una vida arraigada en el amor, la familia y la dedicación. Durante 20 años trabajó como niñera, cuidando a los niños con la misma ternura y devoción que entregaba a su propia familia. Le sobreviven su hijo, José Arturo Salinas, y su esposa, María del Carmen Salinas; sus hermanos, Héctor Salinas y Rubén Salinas; y sus amados nietos, quienes fueron su orgullo y alegría: Arturo Damián Salinas, Linda Juanita Salinas, Ruby Salinas y José Darío Salinas.
Olga fue precedida en muerte por sus padres, José Salinas Garza y Juanita Salinas; y por sus hermanos Rogelio Salinas, Hortencia Salinas, Ernesto Salinas, Lilia Salinas y Juanita Salinas.
Su legado de bondad, fortaleza y amor inquebrantable seguirá vivo en los corazones de todos quienes la conocieron.
Olga Salinas Flores, age 91, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, in Houston. She was born on October 1, 1934, in Los Herreras, Nuevo León, Mexico, to Jose Salinas Garza and Juanita Flores.
Olga lived a life rooted in love, family, and dedication. For 20 years, she worked as a nanny, caring for children with the same tenderness and devotion she poured into her own family. Outside of her work, she found joy in gardening, discovering new foods, visiting loved ones, and traveling to Mexico-a place that always held a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her son, Jose Arturo Salinas, and his wife, Maria Del Carmen Salinas; her brothers, Hector Salinas and Ruben Salinas; and her beloved grandchildren, who were her pride and joy: Arturo Damian Salinas, Linda Juanita Salinas, Ruby Salinas, and Jose Dario Salinas.
Olga was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Salinas Garza and Juanita Salinas; and her siblings, Rogelio Salinas, Hortencia Salinas, Ernesto Salinas, Lilia Salinas, and Juanita Salinas.
Her legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
