Joel Silva

Joel Silva, aged 32, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday morning, October 1, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A funeral service to celebrate Joel's life will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 4:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Maury Memorial Gardens, where his family and friends will honor him as pallbearers. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation hours on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Joel was born on April 17, 1991, in Chicago, Illinois, to his loving parents Cleofas Silva and Rosa Rivas Silva. He was a 2010 graduate of Spring Hill High School. He spent several years working for Affinion Group in Franklin before transitioning to the construction industry, where he contributed his skills to Reeves Young. Joel's presence was marked by his infectious sense of humor, which brightened the lives of those around him. He cherished his family, especially his beloved niece, Yulianna, and his love for them was unconditional.
In addition to his parents, Joel is survived by his sister, Nataly (Juan Valdez) Silva of Columbia, TN, his cherished niece, Yulianna Valdez, and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Joel's untimely departure leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will live on, and the impact of his love and laughter will be cherished forever.
