Chad embodied a fighting spirit and through his battle with his health, he fought valiantly, never complaining. He had a soft spot for rescue animals and loved his dogs dearly. Chad loved his family deeply and spending time with them brought him an enormous amount of joy and happiness, he will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his loving wife he is survived by his children, Zaiden Cochran, Maddie Derryberry, mother, Livia Derryberry, brother, Tommy (Lora) Derryberry, as well as numerous family members and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold (Sarah) Daly and Robert (Bertha) Derryberry.
In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage donations be made to Rubies and Rogues Animal Rescue or the Maury County Animal Shelter.
