Mr. Joel Patman “Pat” Williams, age 86 of State Road, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Westwood Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. He was born in Patrick County on June 19, 1939 to the late John Preston Williams and Gracie Darling Rorrer Williams. In addition of his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Hall Williams; three brothers, John A. “Buck” Williams, Jimmy Lee Williams, Robert “Bob” Williams; and six sisters, Mary Fern Baldwin, Tecora Quesinberry, Bernice Shaffer, Juanita “Betty” Rogers, India “Dot” Haynes and Gennell Williams. He enjoyed working with his hands and collecting toy model cars and dolls.
Mr. Williams is survived by a brother, Franklin Williams (Karen); three special nephews, Lee Fain, Richard Willard (Barbara) and Chuck Baldwin (Donna); a special stepchild, Beverly “Lynn” Riddle; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mr. Williams will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. in the Williams Family Cemetery. Moody Funeral Home is handling the arrangements, and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
