Joetta M. Wilson, 77, of East Moline, Illinois, passed on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Silvis Center, in Silvis, Illinois.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at Viola Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Quad Cities Animal Welfare Center.
Joetta Marie Wilson was born on May 3, 1948, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of B. Frank and Jean (Needham) Wilson. She worked as an interior painter for over 20 years and then retired from Service Rubber.
She had a loving and gentle spirit. She was an avid animal lover whose heart was especially drawn to dogs, cats, and horses. Her kindness toward animals reflected the compassion she carried throughout her life.
Joetta is survived by her step-siblings, Michael (Kathy) Wynn, Gary (Barb) Wynn, Patrick (Sharon) Wynn, and Nan (Jim Leinicke) Wynn. She was preceded in death by her parents, B. Frank Wilson and Jean Wynn; step-father, Donald Wynn; and her brother, William “Bee Wee” Wilson.
