Joey Diemer Obituary

LEIPSIC – Joey A. Diemer, 47, of Leipsic, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at his residence. He was born March 30, 1978, in Bowling Green to James and Judy (Botjer) Diemer. His father preceded him death and his mother survives in Leipsic.
Other survivors include his two daughters: Macayla (Trevor Wiener) Benington of Fostoria and Abigail Diemer of Findlay; a brother, Jim (Stephanie) Diemer of Savannah, GA; and five grandchildren with one more on the way.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Jeromy Diemer.
Joey graduated from North Hall High School, Georgia and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Owen's, Findlay. He was a natural comedian, good at mechanics and tinkering, loved his family, football, people and never knew a stranger.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 220 W. Elm St., Deshler, Ohio 43516.
Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.

Ohhh Joey!!! I am lost for words. I had met Joey in July and we became the best of friends. Literally laughing from the moment I met him until now. He was absolutely the life of the party, a shining light in ANY room, and could make you laugh so hard you had tears. He was a special kind of person, one who made anyone and everyone feel welcome, could talk to you for hours on end. He gave the best bear hugs. I pray that he is at peace and free from all pain . God love you Joey, you will be missed beyond words and never forgotten. God gained one special Angel. Fly high bud
