John Adkison Obituary
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday April 15, 2025 at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with military honors. Bro. Gary Martin will officiate the services with Foreman Funeral Home directing. The family will visit with friends at the cemetery after the services.
Mr. Adkison is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Shelia Adkison of Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Andy Barnett of Andalusia; sons, Dwayne Adkison and Kenneth Adkison both of Andalusia; six grandchildren, Heather Adkison, Trey Adkison, Riley Adkison, Jacob Hawkins, Jeremiah Adkison, and Ashley Stovall; one great-grandchild, Kenneth Briar Adkison; sister, Patty Dozier; sister-in-law, Linda Adkison; cousin, Bob Adkison; close family friends, Dorsey and Cheryl Maddox; two nephews, Lamar Dozier and Jamie Dozier.
Mr. Adkison was preceded in death by his parents, J.E. and Alma Tatum Adkison, brother, Bruce Adkison, and nephews, Greg Adkison and Rodney Adkison.
