Randy Allen "RAT" Taylor

Randy Allen Taylor ("RAT"), age 61, of Andalusia, Alabama, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.

Graveside services for Mr. Taylor will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery, with Bro. Derwood Cleland officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at Foreman Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his son, Kody (Erin) Taylor of Andalusia, Alabama; his daughter, Marissa (J.D.) Whitt of Andalusia, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Amelia Whitt, Finnleigh Taylor, Audrey Taylor, Brayden Short, and Baylee Short.

He is also survived by his brother, Eddie Taylor of Andalusia, AL; sisters, Nelle (Wayne) Kyser and Sissy (Bubba) Dye, both of Andalusia, Alabama; his nephews, Johnathon Williamson, Joe Kyser, Trae Bowen, Mason Wood, and Eli Wood; and his niece, Sara Grace Dye.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Sue Threatt, and by his sister, Wendy Threatt Wood.
