John Victor Alic

JOHN VICTOR ALIC (VICTOR) age 88, passed away April 3, 2023. Beloved husband of Catherine (deceased) of 30 years and Victoria (deceased) of 30 plus years. Loving father of Ronald Alic (deceased), Dorothy Braun (Gary), and Paul Alic (Amy). Dear grandfather of Catherine Braun, Brandon Braun (Abbey), Matthew Alic (Katie), Emily Alic, and Noah Alic. Caring brother of Richard Alic (deceased) (Eileen), Michael Alic (Toni), and Robert Alic. Victor is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and neighbors. Victor was born in Cleveland, Ohio where he grew up and was raised by his parents John and Anne Alic. After graduating high school, Victor joined the Air Force and served for 4 years. For more than 35 years he worked for the Ohio Bell Telephone Co. where he had many positions and retired as a supervisor. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic church for more than 50 years. Victor Loved his family very much and was a devoted husband and father. He really enjoyed attending his grandsons high school football games and his granddaughter's dance recitals. In his leisure time, Victor loved to go camping and just sit by campfires at his son's house. In his younger day(s), he enjoyed bike riding with his family and his favorite TV show was "All in The Family." One of his favorite traditions was having dinner at "Longhorn Steak House on Rockside Road" with family and friends.
Friends are invited for visitation at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 3434 George Ave., Parma, OH 44134 on Monday, April 10 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
