John Allen Obituary
public school in Plain Dealing and graduated from Carrie Martin High School. He attended College of the
Mainland, where he received his welding license and was a welder for many years.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.John married Kathy Fisher in Galveston, Texas. To this
union, one son was born, Shawn Ray Allen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Malik Isaac Allen; brother, Emmith Allen; and sister, Susie
Haller.
He leaves with precious memories, a very devoted wife of 52 years, Kathy Allen of Galveston; son, Shawn Ray
Allen (Angela) of League City; two grandsons, Kobe & Quincey Allen; brothers, Judge Jr. (Betty) of Houston,
Archie of Dallas, Terry (Judy) of Texas city, and Ed (Delena) of Saginaw, Michigan.
